This Corvette is beautiful but what really caught my eye was the Dick Balch license plate border. Balch was famous in the region nearly a half century ago for slamming his autos with a sledge hammer followed by a high-pitched silly laugh as part of a TV advertising gimmick.

This blog has been mostly retired but I will still check the comments for moderation occasionally on slow days. Think twice, post once. I place a high value on civility and publish them, or not, accordingly. Some might call this censorship. I call it having editorial standards. We both would be right.
