Gas pipeline wooden log arch
Mar. 20, 2017. A new archway has appeared over the sign indicating where the natural gas pipeline enters city limits, 6th and Hemlock.
A wrong turn
Dec. 2, 2016. Tracks left by a vehicle occupying two fugitives attempting to elude law enforcement. The chase ended in the swamp next to Rainbow Park.
Stonehenge-- the McCleary version
Oct. 28, 2016. Beerbower Park, next to Rainbow Park. The Rainbow residents used to have a garden spot in this area in the late 20th century. This could be considered an extension of the street known as "Veterans Way." First Street creates the horizon line in the background.
McCleary Cemetery

This cemetery was started around 1911. Shortly after it began, the local Knights of Pythias took charge of it. In May, 1945 the lodge handed over the property to the McCleary municipal government.
A 1994 survey and indexing project established that over 20 unmarked and unrecorded graves exist, thanks in part to the soundings performed earlier by Herbert "Mac" McCready.
